In his 20s, Matias finds an abandoned laptop one day at an internet café. The laptop has been sitting in the lost and found for 3-4 weeks, and Matias decides that the owner no longer wants it, so he takes it home. Upon opening the laptop and inspecting it, he discovers hidden files. These files contain deep web content, concealed by a computer game program. The deep web, an untraceable area, is a place where users share content such as drugs, explicit material, and even hire hitmen. Users exchange videos of tortures, murders, and abuse. The laptop Matias found belongs to someone within this network.

While Matias and his friends are on a video call, they witness disturbing footage, and soon find themselves in the middle of a cat-and-mouse game with an anonymous group. Unidentified attackers begin hunting the members of their group and their loved ones one by one. Trapped in the digital world, the victims must fight for survival…

This is the sequel to the 2014 film Unfriended. Directed and written by Stephen Susco, this found-footage-style thriller stars Colin Woodell (Aiden from The Originals), Andrew Lees (Lucien Castle from The Originals), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Anna from The Mindy Project), and Betty Gabriel (Maling from Westworld).
