The Equalizer 2

Robert McCall is struggling with the shadows of his past. Having lost the peace of mind he once had while working in the CIA’s covert operations, McCall continues to search for a way to fill the void in his soul. Helping those in desperate need of justice and fighting to right the wrongs of the world, McCall one day receives bad news from his old friend, Susan Plummer. Now, McCall must do what he knows best: take justice into his own hands.

The film, which is the sequel to The Equalizer, stars two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington in the lead role. Directed once again by Antoine Fuqua, known for films like Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen, and The Magnificent Seven, the action-packed film is written by Richard Wenk, who also penned the scripts for The Equalizer, The Expendables 2, and The Magnificent Seven. The cast includes Pedro Pascal, known for Narcos and Game of Thrones, Oscar-winning actress Melissa Leo from The Fighter, Bill Pullman, Jonathan Scarfe, Sakina Jaffrey, Ashton Sanders, and Lexie Roth. The film’s music is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams, renowned for his work on The Martian, The Chronicles of Narnia, Deja Vu, The Town, and Enemy of the State.
