Mission: Impossible II

Former IMF agent Sean Ambrose is trying to acquire a deadly virus known as Chimera. Ambrose, who aims to control the stock market and amass a fortune using both the virus and its antidote, becomes the target of Ethan Hunt. To locate Ambrose, Ethan decides to use his former lover, Nyah Hall. However, Nyah’s captivating beauty leads Ethan to fall in love with her, causing his priorities to shift. Directed by Hong Kong action master John Woo, the film features a strong emotional component alongside its action-packed content. Woo, who took a very different approach from Brian De Palma’s first film, manages to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with breathtaking action sequences.
