Crank : High Voltage
In the hit action film Crank (2006), assassin Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) fought against a deadly poison coursing through his veins, spending 24 hours battling, killing, and keeping his adrenaline levels high. Now, in the high-octane sequel Crank: High Voltage, Chev wakes up to a brand new day after surviving the last time…
Picking up exactly where the first film left off, Crank: High Voltage begins with Chev’s deadly leap through the streets of Los Angeles and his subsequent kidnapping by a mysterious Chinese gang…
Three months later, Chev opens his eyes to find that his heart, which was nearly impossible to damage, has been surgically removed and replaced with a battery-operated device that requires regular electrical boosts to function.
Dangerously escaping from his captors, Chev finds himself in another chase. This time, he is on the run from the charismatic Mexican gang leader El Huron (Clifton Collins, Jr.) and the head of the Chinese crime syndicate, 100-year-old Poon Dong (David Carradine).
Once again seeking medical help from Doctor Miles (Dwight Yoakam), Chev also receives support from his friend Kaylo’s twin brother, Venus (Efren Ramirez). Reuniting with his girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart), who is now aware of what he does, Chev is determined to find his real heart and take revenge on those who stole it. Thus, another thrilling adventure begins in the city of Los Angeles, where anything can be done to survive.
