Three months later, Chev opens his eyes to find that his heart, which was nearly impossible to damage, has been surgically removed and replaced with a battery-operated device that requires regular electrical boosts to function.

Dangerously escaping from his captors, Chev finds himself in another chase. This time, he is on the run from the charismatic Mexican gang leader El Huron (Clifton Collins, Jr.) and the head of the Chinese crime syndicate, 100-year-old Poon Dong (David Carradine).

Once again seeking medical help from Doctor Miles (Dwight Yoakam), Chev also receives support from his friend Kaylo’s twin brother, Venus (Efren Ramirez). Reuniting with his girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart), who is now aware of what he does, Chev is determined to find his real heart and take revenge on those who stole it. Thus, another thrilling adventure begins in the city of Los Angeles, where anything can be done to survive.
